Dominic amerena
I’m an Australian writer, researcher and educator. Over the last decade, my work has been widely published and anthologised.
I’ve won many awards, grants, scholarships and prizes, most recently: a Hawthornden Fellowship (2022), the inaugural Speculate Prize (2021), an Australia Council New Work Grant (2021), and the Alan Marshall Short Story Award (2020).
My debut novel is called I Want Everything, and I am a PhD candidate at RMIT University. I live, for the most part, in Athens, Greece, with my wife, the essayist, Ellena Savage.
