DOMINIC AMERENA

I am an Australian writer, and my debut novel, I Want Everything, has been described as a “masterpiece”, “a modern Australian classic”, and a “superb debut”. My fiction, essays and criticism have been published widely. New writing has appeared in Kismet, Kill Your Darlings, The Age, The Los Angeles Review of Books and New Australian Fiction.

I’ve won numerous prizes, grants and fellowships, most recently: the Vil La Joana Residency, Hawthornden Fellowship, the Speculate Prize, an Australia Council New Work Grant, and the Alan Marshall Short Story Award.

I’m represented by Grace Heifetz, at a4 Literary, I have a PhD from the University of RMIT and I live in Athens, Greece.
