I’m an Australian writer, editor, publisher and researcher. I’m a Felix Meyer Scholar, an R.G Wilson Scholar, and I’ve won, or been long or short-listed for, several prizes, including, most recently: The Commonwealth Writers Story Prize 2021 (longlisted for ‘Ice Cubes’); The Alan Marshall Short Story Award 2020 (winner for ‘Show Don’t Tell’); The 2019 Newcastle Short Story Award (third place for ‘Small Acts of Love and Devotion’) and the ABR Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize 2017 & 2016 (runner up for ‘The Leaching Layer’highly commended for ‘Help Me Harden My Heart’).

I’m a PhD candidate at the University of RMIT, and am working on a novel called In Real Life.
